COAT OF SMILES, parody art of iconic symbols. A duck's hat, a mouse's ears and a smiling yellow button. Three iconic things brought together in one artwork.

Star Ducks Sketches

A few days ago, I finished my dissertation on methodology of de-constructing ducks ;) More of those ducks, among other things, will be shown attached to my interview at Randall Sly's Character Design Blog, soon.

Update: The interview is online now (Many thanks, Randall)

  5. I'm not sure why, but I find myself staring at your drawings for long periods of time, like a Monet or Da Vinci. They have me in a trance-like gaze as I pour over the lines and shapes. Your stuff is amazing and enjoy every post. Thanks for the break from the daily grind!

  15. Great ducks! Like Jason above, I just can't help but stare at these ducks for long periods of time. They're such appealing characters. I especially like the one with the two ducks on the machines, where you combined/blended your pencil sketch & the final product together in the bottom left corner. I love stuff like that!

I'm definitely putting this blog in my favorites! Can't wait to see what's next!
